Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms before using OneStation Projects or submitting an outdoor-project enquiry. They explain OneStation’s role, the role of independent providers and the contractual relationship that applies if you choose to proceed with a provider.
Important disclosure. OneStation Projects helps homeowners understand project requirements and connect with independent outdoor service providers. Unless OneStation expressly agrees otherwise in writing, OneStation is not the builder, landscaper, tradesperson or contractor performing the physical work and is not a party to the contract between you and your selected provider.
1. Acceptance
By using this website, submitting an enquiry or accepting these Terms through a form or other process, you agree to these Terms. If acting for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Our Privacy Policy also explains how we handle personal information.
2. Nature of OneStation's service
OneStation may receive enquiries, discuss scope, collect project information, identify potentially suitable providers, facilitate introductions, arrange communications or site visits and assist with general project administration. These activities do not make OneStation the contractor responsible for the physical works.
3. Independent providers
Providers introduced through OneStation operate independent businesses. Unless expressly stated in writing, they are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers or subcontractors of OneStation and have no authority to bind OneStation. OneStation does not control the day-to-day manner in which an independent provider performs contracted work.
4. OneStation vetted / approved providers
References to a provider as “OneStation vetted”, “OneStation approved” or similar mean only that the provider satisfied the applicable OneStation onboarding criteria at the relevant time. Checks may include business/identity information, relevant licences or insurance information, interviews, past-work information and/or references. The scope of checks may vary by provider and type of work.
Vetting is not a guarantee of future performance, workmanship, financial standing, availability, licensing status, insurance coverage or suitability for a particular project. Customers should conduct their own checks before entering a contract.
5. Customer selection and due diligence
The customer decides whether to engage a provider. Before proceeding, customers should review the provider's identity, ABN, quotation, contract, relevant licence, insurance and other credentials appropriate to the work, and obtain independent advice where appropriate.
6. Licences, insurance, approvals and compliance
The provider contracting to perform regulated work is responsible for satisfying legal requirements applicable to that work, including relevant licences, insurance, permits, approvals, certifications, safety requirements and statutory obligations. Customers should independently verify material credentials before signing a contract or allowing work to commence.
7. Quotations and customer-provider contract
Unless OneStation expressly agrees otherwise in writing, preliminary budgets, estimates, discussions or project information supplied by OneStation are indicative only. The selected provider should issue the applicable quotation and/or contract identifying the provider as the contracting party and setting out scope, price, exclusions, payment terms, variations and other conditions. The physical-work contract is between the customer and provider, not OneStation.
8. Payments
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a separate OneStation service, deposits, progress payments and final payments for physical works are payable directly to the provider under the customer-provider contract. OneStation does not hold those project payments on behalf of the provider and has no authority to refund money paid directly to a provider.
9. Provider fees and commercial relationships
Finding or being introduced to a provider through OneStation may be free to homeowners. OneStation may receive referral, marketing, platform, administration or other fees from participating providers. The existence of such a fee does not make OneStation a party to the customer-provider contract.
10. Scope, site conditions and variations
Project scope, price, feasibility and timing may change after inspection, measurement, excavation, engineering or technical assessment, service-location checks, authority requirements, access constraints, material availability or unexpected site conditions. Variations and additional work are matters for the customer and provider under their contract.
11. Workmanship, materials, warranties and defects
The provider is responsible for the work it contracts to perform, including workmanship, materials it supplies, rectification, applicable statutory warranties and contractual warranties. OneStation does not provide a workmanship, structural or materials warranty for work performed under a separate customer-provider contract.
12. Delays, abandonment and provider unavailability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneStation is not responsible for provider delays, cancellation, insolvency, abandonment, loss of licence, unavailability or removal from the OneStation network. OneStation has no obligation to complete or finance completion of a provider's work, refund amounts paid to the provider or pay for a replacement provider. We may, at our discretion, try to identify another provider.
13. Disputes
Contractual disputes, defects, delays, variations, payment issues and warranty claims relating to provider work must be addressed with the provider under the applicable contract and law. OneStation may choose to assist communications or informal resolution. Doing so does not make OneStation a party to the project contract, an arbitrator, guarantor or person responsible for funding any settlement or rectification.
14. Provider removal
OneStation may suspend or remove a provider from its network for reasons including complaints, non-responsiveness or failure to meet network standards. Removal does not transfer that provider's contractual obligations to OneStation and does not oblige OneStation to replace the provider or complete the project.
15. Customer responsibilities
Customers should provide accurate and complete project, property and access information; review provider documentation; make required decisions; obtain advice where appropriate; and comply with obligations under their provider contract. Customers should not rely solely on website descriptions or OneStation's introduction when deciding to engage a provider.
16. Website content, images and project information
Website content, galleries, articles, illustrations, dimensions and service descriptions are general information and inspiration only. They are not architectural, engineering, surveying, planning, certification, legal or other professional advice. Project-specific advice should be obtained from appropriately qualified persons.
17. No guarantee of provider or project outcomes
OneStation does not guarantee provider availability, acceptance of a project, price, savings, quotation competitiveness, start or completion dates, workmanship, particular results or dispute outcomes. Any specific promotional guarantee applies only where OneStation publishes separate written eligibility conditions for that promotion.
18. Communications and call recording
We may communicate by telephone, email, SMS or messaging services in connection with an enquiry. Calls may be recorded for quality assurance, training, record keeping or dispute management where legally permitted and with notice or consent where required.
19. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting a project enquiry, you acknowledge that relevant contact and project information may be shared with potentially suitable independent providers for the purpose of assessing and responding to the enquiry.
20. Intellectual property and third-party services
Unless otherwise stated, OneStation owns or licenses its website branding, layout and content. Third-party links and services are independently operated and OneStation does not guarantee their availability, accuracy or practices.
21. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
22. Limitation of OneStation liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneStation is not liable for acts, omissions, representations, delays, defects, damage, safety practices, contractual breaches or other performance of an independent provider where those matters are outside OneStation's legal responsibility or control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for OneStation's own conduct where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
23. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss reasonably suffered by OneStation arising from your unlawful use of the website, material breach of these Terms, or information/content you provide without authority. This clause does not require you to indemnify OneStation for loss caused by OneStation's own negligence, breach or other conduct to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be shifted.
24. Force majeure
OneStation is not responsible for delay or failure in its own facilitation services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
25. Changes, severability and governing law
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to mandatory rights and jurisdictions that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Effective date: 15 September 2026. These Terms govern OneStation's website, enquiry, introduction and facilitation service. The separate contract issued by an independent provider governs the physical work you engage that provider to perform.
